Enhance My Home Life

Sunnyfield’s accommodation facilities provide a safe and supported home environment for people with a range of support needs. Sunnyfield staff encourage and support increased independence by developing a range of life skills. 

Sunnyfield currently operates Housing and Support Services in 29 group homes across the Northern Sydney area and the Hills district of Sydney. 

Other services provided include: 

Drop-in Support caters for one or two residents living in their own homes. Staff support is provided during the day and evening as required. Staff will often provide assistance with cooking, cleaning, medication needs, shopping, community access and specialist appointments. 

Living Linkage provides intensive support, training and skills development packages for people with disabilities living in the New England region of NSW. These training programs are designed to assist and support the transition to independent living or assist those at risk of losing their independence.

Independent Living Drop In Support
The drop-in support service model provides up to 35 hours of direct support per week for people with a disability who require low to moderate levels of accommodation support. This service helps people to live as independently as possible. 

Main features: 

  • Each person lives in their own, rented or family accommodation. 
  • Each person can receive up to 35 hours a week support according to an individualised support package.
  • Each person will receive: 
  • age and culturally appropriate levels of support to complete activities of daily living and develop social connection;
  • support to develop skills;
  • appropriate levels of support that manage risks associated with health and well-being; and
  • assistance to sustain a tenancy and reside independently in their own or family home within a community setting. 

Community Programs

The Life Choices Program provides people aged 25 - 54 with purposeful life-stage and age-appropriate daytime activities which are matched to their skills and interests. The program provides leisure and recreation activities to support healthy lifestyles and provides opportunities for community inclusion and participation.

The Active Ageing Program responds to the needs and interests of older people aged 55 - 64 (and people with early onset ageing) and provides support to help them to make the transition to an active older life. The program provides age-appropriate daytime leisure and recreation activities and opportunities for community participation to support community inclusion. 

Fee for service

Sunnyfield also provides support for people with a disability who are not accessing government funding to secure their support services. Sunnyfield is pleased to provide accommodation support services on a fee for service.
